Gravis and the Emerging Markets of Mongolia, Cuba, and the UAE

The law firm Gravis, in collaboration with its partner Intercork, took part in the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum, held in Minsk on June 26, 2025. The event took place on the sidelines of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting, which brought together the heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The business partners focused their participation on three thematic tracks of the forum, dedicated to strengthening relations with Mongolia, Cuba, and the United Arab Emirates.

At the roundtable discussion "EAEU–Mongolia", participants explored trends and prospects in trade and economic cooperation between the EAEU and Mongolia. Key topics included the potential benefits of a temporary trade agreement, strategies for supporting joint project implementation, and the development of new transport and logistics corridors.

The presentation-dialogue "Cuba: Opportunities for Developing Economic Ties Between the EAEU and the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean" highlighted Cuba’s initiatives aimed at fostering practical cooperation between EAEU countries and Cuban business circles. Discussions covered a broad exchange of views on collaborative projects in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, as well as in industry and agriculture—sectors deemed particularly promising.

The EAEU–UAE Business Dialogue addressed challenges in foreign economic cooperation between EAEU operators and their Arab partners. The session focused on mechanisms for developing digital infrastructure, removing non-tariff barriers, unlocking the potential of mutual trade, promoting preferential international trade, and enabling businesses to access new markets.
